DIVERSION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
CAVERSWALL ROAD, BLYTHE BRIDGE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 14 August 2018 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Caverswall Road in Blythe Bridge from its junction with Caverswall Old Road to its junction with A521 Uttoxeter Road unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works. Gated Marshall to allow access for local residents – pedestrian, frontage and emergency services.

An alternative route for traffic is available via Blythe Bridge Road, The Dams, School Lane, Caverswall Lane, Uttoxeter Road, A521 Uttoxeter Road and vice versa. For more information, visit: https://roadworks.org?tm=105544363

The order will come into operation on 20 August 2018 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 October 2018.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the gas mains reinforcement works undertaken by Balfour Beatty, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
