DIVERSION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
A521 DELPHOUSE ROAD, BOUNDARY
NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 17 September 2019 made an Order the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of A521 Delphouse Road in Boundary from its junction with Common Lane, A521 Cheadle Road and Boundary Road for a distance of approximately 160 metres in a north easterly direction unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to premises on the length of road.
An alternative route for traffic is available via A521 Cheadle Road, A521 Uttoxeter Road, Uttoxeter Road, Draycott Road, High Street, A522 New Road, A522 Cheadle Road, A522 Tean Road, A522 Tape Street, Chapel Street, Bank Street, Watt Place, A521 The Terrace, A521 Town End, A521 The Green, A521 Delphouse Road. For vehicular traffic travelling east and wishing to access A522 Tape Street, access will be via the one-way system on A521 High Street. The order will come into operation from 09:00 hours on 27 September 2019 and the said works will
commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed
by 16:00 hours on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the tree cutting works, which it is proposed to carry
out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
